The BIG Campaign – Build, Inspire, Grow
Help us make sure that Longridge is ready to provide an environment that allows our young people to thrive for another 50-years.
Years of regular winter floods have meant that our remaining buildings urgently need replacing. Our first build will be a new accommodation block as our accommodation for our young visitors is completely oversubscribed in the summer months as increasing number of schools and youth groups are recognising the benefits of learning through outdoor adventures. We want our accommodation to be affordable, inspiring and available to young people of all backgrounds and abilities.
We need to raise £5m to replace all of our buildings and create the master plan you see here. This will give us better accommodation, catering, car-parking and apprentice accommodation as well as new activities and better use of our beautiful river-side space
How You Can Help
Money. Please make a donation to our campaign. You can do this with the button below, by cheque or BACS. IF you do, please complete a Gift Aid form as this will substantially increase the value of your donation. You can download a form here. Then encourage your employer and friends to support our fundraising with their own donations.
Time. We have a brilliant team who work hard but without volunteers it would be impossible to keep Longridge afloat. We need help at every part of our operation; so if you have some time you can donate, we will find a role that will suit your skills and the time commitment you have.
Using Us. Probably the very best way to support Longridge is to organise your adventure here. This could be for you by joining one of our courses, organising a work team building day with us or encouraging your family to enjoy our activities.
Remember, when you donate, join our team or use us – please share with everybody you know what a great time you had, or that you know 100s of thousands of young people have at Longridge ever year.

We are a charity, and so the best ways to donate are by using our facilities, and paying the ‘Charitable Donation’ price. This price is slightly higher than our standard pricing - with the entire difference going directly to the Charity.
