Green Park is an ex Rothschild estate and set within 80-acres of rolling parkland and mature woodland, some of which benefits from being set up by the Rothschild as an Arboretum and has various unique specimens of trees. This beautiful setting has the advantage of offering a quiet, natural environment in the heart of the Chilterns and close to all major motorway networks, mainline train stations and only 30-mins from London. Visit for an afternoon, spend the day with us, or the more intrepid adventurers can stay for the weekend or even an entire week. Try out our safari lodges, indoor bedrooms, or pitch up on our campsite nestled within our beautiful meadows, pastures and woodland – perfect to embrace the great outdoors for a real immersive outdoor adventure.
We have grown over the last 50-years into one of the UK’s leading providers of outdoor education for young people at all stages of their development and education. We offer a fun, challenging and safe environment in which young people can enjoy a wide range of exciting indoor and outdoor activities. Indoors we have a 25m swimming pool and large sports hall and outdoors we have a large array of high ropes courses, climbing tower, zip wire, archery, mountain bikes and a wonderful array of team building and low rope courses. We are particularly proud of our facilities for those with disabilities, and would like to be recognised as a leading activity centre for young people with disabilities. We aim to provide every opportunity to our young visitors to make a positive contribution to society and be the very best they can be. Our primary aim is to provide adventurous outdoor opportunities for young people and their families regardless of ability or background.
Green Park has great transport links with ample parking and a range of bunk room and camping facilities and options for fully catered stays. Fully accessible toilets and showers, masses of open space and dedicated groups areas are available. We have a variety of bubble buildings and safari lodges that you can use if you need to have a skills session whilst you are here, or even just to use as a communal space to watch a film in the evening.
We have a selection of indoor accommodation that can take up to 86 people in the Ash-Deal blocks, although this is slightly dependent on the gender split of the group in question, and 90 people in our Safari Lodges. Our campsites can take up to 200 people in total, spread out across our beautiful woodland site, and we have new showers and toilets available for anyone camping with us. We also offer a range of catering options, whether you’d like to go self-catered or select from our hot or cold food menus. There are also camp fire pits and water taps, enabling you to have a truly self-sufficient stay, should you choose to camp.
Green Park is accredited by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC), and all our activities are fully risk-assessed. We are also particularly proud of our facilities for those with disabilities, allowing us to be fully inclusive in almost all activities.
