Longridge Facilities

Longridge is set in a fantastic Thames riverside location, boasting 12 acres of beautiful water meadows near Marlow, Buckinghamshire. We have our own private island perched in the Thames, accessible only by boat, which also provides us with a backwater area of the river that is perfect for teaching water activities in a secure environment.

We have 22 campsites that can take 350-500 campers spread across our lovely site, dependent on how many tents will be used and how much free space is needed for wide games, campfires, and self-catering mess tents.

We have indoor accommodation split into group rooms that can take up to 87 people. This accommodation consists of bunk beds, with some rooms also having en-suite toilets.

Our training centre has a large top floor and balcony, which can either be split into three meeting rooms or opened up into one large space. There is also a small self-catering kitchen available in our training centre. The bottom floor of the training centre is our shower and toilet facilities, which are open 24 hours a day for our residential guests.

We no longer do a huge amount of venue hire, but we have hosted some beautiful weddings and events here in the past fifty years and so are always open to consider hiring out our gorgeous venue. Send an outline of your event to us and we’ll let you know if we think we’d be able to support it.

Whole site bookings are available, but please be aware that we do have members of staff who live on site, and a catering company based in one of our buildings.
